All that children died because of Athena's own creation of the mess. But you can say the same thing about all of that Athena's demigod kids? Did they deserve that punishment too? My blood literally boiled when I saw that Athena sent all of that kids of hers to the literal death tournament to a monster's hand that she herself had created with her own damn hands. You can say that Arachne deserved that punishment.

I liked Athena until I learned what she did to Arachne. But, she did help them out when they battled the giants, fighting side by side with Annabeth, so, I'm not really sure. But the reason she is so low on my list, is because Athena literally sent all of her kids on a death quest because of a mistake that she made. She is smart, wise, and was only mean towards Percy to protect her daughter. Also, she was clever enough not to get married and ruin her life. Just look back at greek mythology, she's the only one who doesn't objectify us 'puny mortals'. I'd honestly choose her as a mother out of all of them. Her kindness is way too underappreciated. Hestia is the only Olympian that still has a heart. Also men started most wars so it would be best if a woman ruled because there was this one war where each man killed at least 10 men or less but ONE WOMAN killed 300 So I Mean just saying but like the woman literally saved them tho. She is very kind to Percy and Nico when they find her near Luke's house and she is very awesome. Hestia is by far the best god/goddess of them all she is the oldest so she should have ruled Olympus and if she had the world would be way better because she isn't about war and then she would have made sure that there was no world war 1 or 2 and she is best. Hestia is really kind-hearted and she is like a mother. At first he is a bit egotistic, but later he actually cares about his children and other demigods.Ĭome on? How can you not love hestia? Also can I ask, how is it that its always Nico that looks after the people that everyone else forgets about? Bob anyone? But after I read the trials of Apollo I realized he was kind hearted, dramatic, sassy and over all good god!ĭo I have to explain this? Apollo is rly funny and kind, especially as Rick shows it in TOA.
DEMIGODS OF OLYMPUS GODLY PARENT SERIES
Ok, so when I read the percy jackson series I thought "Well this dude is a bit boring" and he same for the heroes of Olympus. I liked the changes he goes through as a mortal and how he actually learns to CARE about demigods. I liked him even before trials of apollo he has cool powers and is funny, but after I liked him even more. The only thing that didn't change about him was how bad his haikus were, but they went from horrible to horribly FUNNY! :) But when I read Trials of Apollo, I realized how cool he is! Not only his narration was wildly funny, but his character development was great! In the first book, you see how proudly and vainly he talks about himself, then as the series progressed, you see him turn into a kind, empathetic person that cared about everyone around him. In PJO and HoO I hated Apollo, he's so stuck up and his haikus are HORRIBLE. He also rarely ever cheats with his wife and cares fore his children.

Hades never broke the oath that he was forced to agree with. Zeus is also the youngest out of the three. Poseidon can control 2/3 of the world and cause earthquakes. Hades has to put the most effort into his job, he is very close to dangerous monsters, and the dead out number the living by the millions. Try to change my mind that Zeus is the least powerful out of the big three. ( Hazel paper and crayons and Nico a zombie driver) Also he is so misunderstood which actually makes him a better person HE TALKS TO HIS KIDS AND TELLS THEM STUFF not just telling them that something is going to happen. He only love a few people because of loyalty to his wife. he only cheats on her when he truly loves someone, like Maria di Angelo, and only cheats on Persephone because she isn't there for HALF HIS LIFE. In BoO, it gives a hint that Hades knows about Nico's crush, but is still willing to support him.Īlso, he really cares and loves Persephone, as he rarely cheats on her. In reality, he really cares about his son, and loves and supports him. He just compared Nico to Bianca because he was angry, and bitter. Example: The whole chapel of bones thing. He goes out of his way to help his kids with quests, or at least give them a little reassurance. He also got the shorter end of the stick compared to his brothers not even allowed on Olympus didn't have a throne there despite being 1 of the 12 olympians and still considered an evil freak/villain by everyone. Not to mention although there's been some cold moments between them he is a good father (for a god) am I the only one who remembers Jules alberts the zombie chauffeur. Is there any other (male) god who actually does that.
